A small environmental consulting company specializing in projects in the greater Puget Sound region, focusing on wetland and stream resources since 2006. Experience includes wetland and stream delineations, wetland and stream studies, mitigation plans, and technical writing. Thousands of acres of land have been assessed in over 250 individual projects varying in size from less than an acre to over 200. Clients have included commercial developers, public and non-profit organizations and private landowners. Varied project experience across many projects in western Washington has provided a familiarity with the permitting process and City and County staff in many jurisdictions in the greater Puget Sound region.
Aquatica is owned and managed by Teresa Opolka, a Professional Wetland Scientist, who performs most of the work conducted by Aquatica. Aquatica takes pride in being a small company that carefully chooses projects to ensure timely work products and individual attention by experienced biologists.
